Rohde: Political and Institutional blockade in Kosovo is concerning

The German Ambassador to Kosovo, Jörn Rohde, met yesterday with the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, during which he expressed concern about the political and institutional blockade.

Rohde, writing on the social network Blue Sky, thanked Osmani for a good discussion and noted that he is worried about the public discourse that questions court rulings.

“At the meeting, I expressed concern over the ongoing political and institutional blockade, as well as the recent public discourse that calls judicial rulings into question, since such developments risk undermining public trust in the independence and integrity of the judiciary,” Rohde wrote.
