Serb List has stated that, on behalf of the Serbian people, they strongly condemn the incident that occurred last night when unidentified individuals presumably threw a stun grenade near the Three Skyscrapers settlement in North Mitrovica. The Serb List emphasizes that they are convinced this was deliberately done to justify the increased presence of heavily armed special forces and armored vehicles on North Mitrovica's streets last night after the incident, intimidating the citizens.

"Throwing firecrackers or similar pyrotechnics is not a crime in itself, but what concerns us is that the faking of such incidents aims to create an alibi for the presence of Kurti's special forces in Serbian communities and the continuation of repression against our people, as well as unjustified arrests," the Serb List stated.

They emphasize that the stun grenade was thrown in an area under the control of the Kosovo Police Special Forces.

"We want to inform the public that even in the case of alleged weapons found in a vehicle and the alleged thrown bomb near the municipal building, it is interesting that this stun grenade was also thrown in an area that has been under the complete control of Kurti's special forces for weeks," the Serb List said.

They reiterated their demand for an increased presence of KFOR and EULEX in North Mitrovica to prevent, as they claim, fake incidents.

"Therefore, we repeat our request to KFOR and EULEX to enhance their presence in northern Kosovo and Metohija, especially in Kosovska Mitrovica, in order to prevent these faked incidents that, we reiterate, Kurti's regime skillfully uses as an alibi to justify the presence of parapolice units, the harassment of the Serbian people, and the arrest of Serbs," the statement reads.
