Serb List: Kurti admitted that he gave the order to ban us from participating in the elections at the CEC

The Serb List has stated that Albin Kurti, at a press conference, publicly admitted that he personally issued an illegal order to ban the party from participating in the parliamentary elections on February 9. They add that this was also confirmed directly before him by Vjosa Osmani.

According to the statement, Kurti unequivocally ordered an attempt to electorally eliminate the Serb List, aware that it is the strongest bastion of defense of the interests of the Serbian people in that area and that he cannot defeat it nor "install his puppets" in the parliament.

"Kurti has publicly, in front of everyone, shown how he is prepared to fight against the Serb List and the Serbian people, even going against the Constitution and laws enacted in Pristina, confirming what we all know well, that his regime knows nothing of democracy, the rule of law, human rights, or legality… but is well versed in autocracy, dictatorship, corruption, and anarchy," the Serb List states.

They also say that Kurti's address to the media tonight is proof that he will not choose means in his confrontation with the Serbs in Kosovo.

"Unfounded attempts to criminalize the Serb List and inventing some science fiction scenarios are yet another proof that Kurti will not choose means in his confrontation with our party and the Serbian people and will resort to the most barefaced lies," the statement adds.

The Serb List also reminds that representatives of the USA have clearly stated that there is no basis or evidence for the accusations against the Serbs and Serbia for the attack on the Ibar-Lepenac canal, and that the FBI is involved in the investigation.

"Therefore, we are eager to see the results of the investigation which Pristina has been sabotaging from the beginning," they emphasize in the Serb List.

They also message that Kurti has not scared them, but rather they are pleased that he has recognized them as the only opponent to the oppression and subjugation of Serbs and the endeavor to disenfranchise the Serbian people and as a bastion that fights to preserve the Serbian people in that area.

"His hysterical attack on the Serb List, directly or through his puppets, is the biggest proof of the correctness of our decision to participate in these elections, gather the Serbian people under one banner, and oppose the oppression and terror over the Serbian people with all democratic and political means," states the Serb List.

They also believe that his statement will "finally open the eyes" of international representatives:

"That Kurti is a blatant chauvinist and extremist, who will never be ready to respect human rights and multiethnic values in Kosovo and Metohija."
