The Serb list: Kurti failed to provoke the Serbs; he returned defeated from where he came

The secret visit of Prime Minister Albin Kurti to Northern Mitrovica, while the Serbs peacefully celebrated Vidovdan throughout Kosovo, was another "slap in the face" to the international community and an attempt to provoke the Serbs in the north, the Serb List said today, stating that the attempt had failed because had to return defeated from where he came.

"Like a poacher, or a thief when he starts stealing, surrounded by dozens of henchmen armed to the teeth, Albin Kurti came to the border of the north of Kosovo and Metohija, more precisely the border of Kosovska Mitrovica, in order to show in the main mediator of the European Union, Miroslav Lajcak, and the High Representative of the European Union, Josep Borrell, in action, what de-escalation looks like on the field," the announcement states.

The Serb List warns that Kurti brought with him, in addition to the already present Special Forces, more armed members of the Kosovo Police.

"What does he think the calming of tensions should look like, by bringing to the north, in addition to the hundreds already existing, tens of other parapolice units armed to the teeth that are all illegally present in the north? Some would say a strong slap in the face of the international community and more of a threat to the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, and we will see what the international community will say. Who the other party responsible for this provocation will be," the Serb List said.

While the Serbs, they point out, in peace, without any fanfare, with prayer, threatened by the anti-Serb regime of Albin Kurti, celebrate the national and religious holiday Vidovdan with thoughts of the daily terror they suffer and thinking about their unjustly arrested brothers who suffer today like many heroes before them, Kurti wants to collect cheap political points by pretending to be a leader in an attempt, and instead of salaries, jobs, and economic development, he offers his voters conflicts, brutality, violation of the rights and freedom of the Serbs.

The party says that Kurti's secret visit is actually proof of his "occupational ideology".

"What was the purpose of Albin Kurti's visit today in a mixed settlement where there have been no incidents between the Serbs and Albanians for a long time, except to make Kurti think that he is big and strong, of course, when he is surrounded by dozens of armed henchmen who don't even know the reason for Kurti's excursion, which is certainly proof of Kurti's occupation ideology," the statement said.

A few hours later, they point out, Kurti had to return from where he came, "defeated" because he failed to provoke the Serbs and present himself as a victim.
