A delegation of the Serb List met today with the European Union Special Representative for the Dialogue, Peter Sorensen, to discuss the increasingly difficult situation faced by the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija.

According to a statement from the Serb List, the discussion particularly emphasized the problems Serbs are facing, such as daily institutional violence, including the forceful seizure of property and apartments, as well as baseless and politically motivated proceedings against Serbian representatives and citizens.

The Serb List underlined the urgent need to halt all unilateral actions by Pristina that further undermine the security and rights of the Serbian people.

“Such actions, besides violating basic human rights, endanger every attempt at normalization of relations and de-escalation of the situation on the ground,” the statement said.

A clear demand was also made for the immediate implementation of all agreements reached within the Brussels Dialogue, with special emphasis on the urgent establishment of the Community of Serb-Majority Municipalities (CSM), which, as the statement notes, represents a key step toward protecting the collective rights of the Serbian people and creating conditions for a normal life.

The Serb List reaffirmed its commitment to peace, stability, and full respect for the rights of the Serbian people, and called on the international community to finally take concrete steps to stop the repression and discrimination against Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija.
