The Serb List: Stop the desecration of Serbian graves

The Serb List strongly condemns the excavation of the Serbian Orthodox cemetery in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica, which, they emphasize, is being carried out by Albanian companies at the request of the Albin Kurti’s Government. They demand that the international community urgently react and stop the desecration of Serbian graves.

"After the Albin Kurti’s regime initiated the process of confiscating Serbian land from our hardworking and prudent family men and excavated roads between Serbian villages, they have now dared to excavate our cemeteries, desecrate them, and scatter the bones of our ancestors," the Serb List says.

They add that the citizens of Kosovska Mitrovica and all Serbs in Kosovo are grieving, in disbelief, and rightfully angered by this disgraceful, inhumane, and uncivilized act.

"This action must be stopped immediately, and the situation on the ground should be restored to its previous state, in cooperation with the priests of the Serbian Orthodox Eparchy of Raska and Prizren," the statement reads.
