Serb List: There is no peace or freedom for Serbs; Kurti continues with the terror

The Serb List has stated that the arrest of Slobodan Jevtic, Dragan Cvetkovic, Dragan Nicic, and Milos Sosic on charges of war crimes is unfounded and politically motivated and that Kurti is continuing to terrorize the Serbian people in Kosovo, who have no peace or freedom in either the north or the south. They demand the immediate release of all those arrested.

The statement points out that, for Pristina, the national identity of the arrested is sufficient reason to brutally mistreat them and their family members.

"Kurti's phalanxes, in the village of Pasjane, which belongs to the Kosovo Pomoravlje region where tens of thousands of Serbs live, conducted a brutal raid early this morning without a court order, destroying the homes of honest and honorable Serbs, mistreating families and children, all under false accusations and with the aim of intimidating Serbs in this part of Kosovo and Metohija," the Serb List states.

They note that the integrity and honesty of the unjustly arrested Serbs are vouched for by all their compatriots in the Kosovo Pomoravlje region.

"To make the paradox even greater, Slobodan Jevtic did not even serve in the military, Dragan Cvetkovic is 90 percent disabled and was a victim of Albanian terror, Dragan Nicic is a retired educator, and Milos Sosic, as a member of the Kosovo Police, passed the security checks of the Kosovo institutions and served without any problems for more than two decades," the Serb List notes.

They also state that it is terrible and unbelievable that the international community continues to tolerate "Kurti's dirty games and the spread of Serbophobia, which he has obviously set as the program of his regime."

The Serb List demands the urgent release of all unjustly arrested Serbs.

"They should be allowed to defend themselves from false accusations while at liberty and stop the terror and institutional violence that Kurti's regime is conducting against the Serbs. The democratic world must put an end to this reign of terror, which is causing dozens of Serbs to leave Kosovo and Metohija every day," the Serb List concludes in their statement.
