Serb List: We will not go to the elections until the CSM is formed and special units are withdrawn from the north
The Serb List delegation, led by President Goran Rakic and Vice Presidents Dalibor Jevtic and Igor Simic, had a meeting today with the US Ambassador in Pristina, Jeffrey Hovenier, according to a statement from the Serb List.
As it is pointed out, the representatives of the Serb List expressed a clear position that "the party remains consistent in its position that it will not participate in the upcoming extraordinary local elections in the municipalities of northern Kosovo and Metohija until the demands for which we left the Kosovo institutions are fulfilled, which is the formation of the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities and the withdrawal of all special units of Pristina from northern Kosovo and Metohija."
Elections in the north of Kosovo are scheduled for April 23, after they were previously announced for December 18 last year and then postponed at the last minute at the international community's request.
