Citizens have gathered in front of the municipal building in Leposavic to express their dissatisfaction with the violent arrests of Serbs from northern Kosovo by the Kosovo Police through a peaceful protest.

The gathered citizens are holding banners with messages written in Serbian and English: "This is our land," "Stop Kurti's violence," "Don't beat our children," "Serbs want peace," "Stop institutional violence"...

The citizens demand the release of Dalibor Spasic, a healthcare worker who was arrested at the Jarinje administrative crossing on Friday, as well as the release of Nemanja Vlaskovic, who was arrested in Leposavic the day before. They also demand the release of Dusan Obrenovic and Rados Petrovic, who were arrested on May 29 during peaceful protests in Zvecan, and Milun Milenkovic, who was arrested in North Mitrovica.

This morning, Uros Vukadinovic, an employee of Telekom, was also arrested in Leposavic.
