The Serbian Army handed KFOR the request for return to Kosovo at Merdare

Serbian Armed Forces members handed over a request to KFOR at Merdare for the return of 1,000 members of the security forces to Kosovo and Metohija, Novosti reports.

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, pointed out last night that a unanimous decision was made at the Government session, and that last night first in electronic form, and today at the administrative crossing, the request for the return of Serbian security forces to Kosovo would be formally delivered to the KFOR commander.

"The request is in accordance with UN Resolution 1244 to return a certain number in hundreds, to a thousand, to Kosovo. The decision was made unanimously, in compliance with international law," Vucic said.
