Spahiu: Rumors circulating that the Government plans to demolish the monument to Prince Lazar in North Mitrovica

Political analyst Nexhmedin Spahiu stated yesterday that rumors are circulating in the public that the Government of Kosovo is planning to demolish the monument to Prince Lazar in North Mitrovica.

Spahiu assessed that “it would not be reasonable” for the Government to take such a step at this moment, the Veriu portal reported on its Facebook page.

Former deputy head of the KLA Veterans’ Organization, Nasim Haradinaj, reacted to Spahiu’s statement, saying that such an action is not one the Government should undertake.
