Stanisavljevic: Appeals to Serbs displaced from Kosovo to vote and support their compatriots

Natasa Stanisavljevic, Commissioner for Refugees and Displaced Persons, has issued an appeal on behalf of the state of Serbia to all internally displaced persons from Kosovo, who are temporarily settled in central Serbia, to vote in the parliamentary elections in Kosovo on February 9.
Speaking to Kosovo Online, Stanisavljevic explained that all those interested in voting can exercise their right if they possess a valid ID card issued by Pristina. According to her, anyone wanting to use their right can call the toll-free number 0800 000 506 to receive all necessary details.
"Bus transportation will be organized. We have discussed this with local governments and the Office for Kosovo and Metohija. The information that most interests those who have called the toll-free number in the past few days concerns where in Kosovo and Metohija they will go to vote and where they will exercise their right," said Stanisavljevic for Kosovo Online.
She emphasized that the Serbian people are living in never more difficult conditions in Kosovo.
"By voting, we help our compatriots to survive and remain in their ancestral homes. This is our small contribution to our compatriots to resist the terror of Pristina," Stanisavljevic stated.
