Nemanja Starovic, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense of Serbia, pointed out that since Albin Kurti had come to power in Pristina, 11 percent of Serbs had left Kosovo. He emphasizes that the Serbian population in northern Kosovo has been effectively decimated over the past two years.

Starovic stated on the social network "X" that Serbs in Kosovo were subjected to daily harassment by paramilitary units of the special police.

"Subjected to daily harassment by special police paramilitaries, Serbs are left with a devilish choice – either to subdue to force or to leave their homes. Seems beyond belief that such a silent ethnic cleansing is happening in the middle of the XXI century Europe, but the facts on the ground concur with the sad truth," Starovic noted.

He adds that there are many international representatives involved in the Kosovo issue in one way or another, but their "watchful eye" remains wide shut by ignorance, bias, and prejudice.
