Starovic: Due to the closure of the Jarinje crossing, the situation in the north is alarming

Nemanja Starovic, State Secretary in the Ministry of Defense, stated that the situation in northern Kosovo was alarming, with essential supplies, medications, and other medical equipment in short supply due to the closure of administrative crossings.

Starovic posted on the social network "X" that the unhindered reign of the Kosovo Police continued.

"For the full 10 days now, North Kosovo* has been completely cut off from Serbia proper. No one is allowed to cross the administrative crossing. Basic necessities are lacking, including medical supplies – medicines, oxygen, baby vaccines, etc. The unhindered reign of militarized Kosovo police throughout the region continues," Starovic said.
