Kosovo’s Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Svecla, confirmed that following today’s raid by the Kosovo Police, Serbian municipal offices in Lipljan, Obilic, Pristina, Kosovo Polje, Vucitrn, Novo Brdo, Kamenica, Vitina, Orahovac, and Srbica, as well as post offices and illegal tax offices, have been shut down.

"Through a joint operation by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Kosovo Police, the era of Serbia's parallel and criminal municipalities and institutions in Kosovo is coming to an end. Today, Serbia’s parallel municipalities in Lipljan, Obilic, Pristina, Kosovo Polje, Vucitrn, Novo Brdo, Kamenica, Vitina, Orahovac, and Srbica, as well as post offices and illegal tax offices, have been closed. As we promised, we do not allow any form of parallelism, let alone Serbia’s criminality, which would threaten the Constitution and legality," Svecla stated in a post on Facebook.

Today, the Kosovo Police raided the facilities of the Provisional Authority of Pristina and post offices in Gracanica, Kosovo Polje, Lipljan, and other locations south of the Ibar River.

After the raid, workers left their workplaces, and the post offices were closed.
