The chief of staff of the Mayor of North Mitrovica, Erden Atiq, Visar Syla, said that the postponement of the deadline by which Serbian institutions were expected to leave the municipal facility they used in Bosniak Mahala had happened with the aim of giving the employees of these institutions more time to move out, Dukagjini reports.
"The reason for postponing the deadline is to give the officials there more time to move out of the facility," Syla said.
Atiq announced this morning that the deadline by which four Serbian institutions should leave the building in the Bosniak Mahala neighborhood had been postponed by two weeks. In this facility are located the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund, the Kosovska Mitrovica District, and the Center for Social Work from Vucitrn.
