UNMIK: We are concerned about the arrest of Popovic

UNMIK is concerned about the arrest of Mr. Popovic and calls for all prescribed procedures to be carried out swiftly and in accordance with human rights standards and the rule of law, according to a written response to Kosovo Online.

It is further emphasized that "the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General and head of UNMIK, Caroline Ziadeh, has repeatedly called for restraint and for the parties to remain constructively engaged in the EU-facilitated dialogue."
