Vanovac: Journalists' Association of Serbia and Journalists' Association of Kosovo and Metohija expect a thorough investigation into the burning of Dusan Milanovic's car

President of the Journalists' Association of Kosovo and Metohija, Ivana Vanovac, stated that the Journalists' Association of Serbia (IJAS) and Journalists' Association of Kosovo and Metohija expected a thorough investigation into the burning of Dusan Milanovic's car, owner of the company VIM info in the Kosovo system, which was the founder of the Kosovo Online portal. They also expect to determine whether this act is in any way related to the reporting of Kosovo Online.

Vanovac emphasized that the Journalists’ Association of Serbia and the Journalists’ Association of Kosovo and Metohija always condemned any form of violence.

"The least we expect now is for the investigation to be carried out to the end, to see what the reason was for the burning of that car, and on the other hand, to determine in the further proceedings whether this gesture is in any way related to the reporting of Kosovo Online. If truthful reporting by Kosovo Online bothers someone, and that stands behind such an act of crime. In any case, the Journalists’ Association of Serbia and the Journalists’ Association of Kosovo and Metohija are here to provide full support to colleagues and to demand further what is our right, and that is better protection of journalists who are just doing their job," Vanovac emphasized.

Milanovic's car was set on fire during the night between Saturday and Sunday.
