European Parliament (EP) Rapporteur for Kosovo Viola von Cramon told for Teva 1 that Kosovo lacked credibility in the international community, adding that Pristina must fulfill its obligations before it started talking about the Serbian side.

"You are not solving your problems, it seems that you are looking for the blame somewhere else," said Von Cramon, commenting on the latest political events in Kosovo.

She points out that for credibility in the international community it is necessary to start implementing the agreement with Serbia as soon as possible.

"At this moment, I do not see the political will of any party to implement the agreement. It is good for Kosovo to focus more on itself and to fulfill the obligations it has undertaken. It does not make a difference if you point the finger elsewhere. At least that is the position of the main institutions of the European Union. If Kosovo wants to become an important player in the international community, then it must first prove that it is a credible player, but it does not show that," she stated.

Von Cramon says that it would be the right action for Pristina to completely remove the special units of the Kosovo Police from municipal facilities in the municipalities in the north.

She emphasizes the importance of implementing the agreements reached between Kosovo and Serbia, which would lead to a calming of the situation in the north.

"The chaos that has arisen in the north of Kosovo must be fixed. There is already an agreement on this issue and it should only be respected. Before you talk about the Serbian side, it is better to fulfill your duties first," she said.
