Radojevic: Von Cramon to invite Pristina to form the CSM, not the Serb List for the elections
Milan Radojevic, a member of the Presidency of the Serb List, said today that their policy had not changed and that they still stood by the position that participation in local elections in the north of Kosovo, as well as in institutions, depended on the formation of the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities, as well as the withdrawal of special forces from the north of Kosovo, RTV broadcasts.
"In the last 10 years, we have shown that we are reliable partners, but the fact is that we must start with the formation of the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities. Our citizens expect something concrete, only after that, we can invite people to vote," Radojevic told Tanjug.
He added that the bases built on private land also had to be removed.
"We said that we could return to the institutions when the CSM was formed, the Special Forces withdrawn and all the bases were withdrawn. We still stand by that," Radojevic pointed out.
When asked how the Serb Lista reacted to the call of the European Parliament rapporteur for Kosovo, Viola von Cramon, to change their decision and go to the elections, Radojevic replies that he expected her to invite Pristina to finally form the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities without delay, and not, as he says, instruct any appeals to the Serb list.
"What is certain is that the Serb List is absolutely with its people and listens exclusively to the voice of the people, and neither to Mrs. von Cramon nor any international representatives. We are the legitimate representatives of the people and at this moment, together with the people, we believe that there are no prerequisites for participating in the elections, or delivering the signed lists," Radojevic said.
He said that in the previous period, there had been many problems, especially since Albin Kurti became the head of the Kosovo government.
Radojeviccc reminded that during the pandemic, Pristina had prohibited vaccinations, the entry of vaccines into Kosovo, even though they had been available to everyone living in that territory, and that even doctors had been arrested.
"They forbade going to the elections, to the referendum, constantly raises indictments against the Serbs for some war crimes, does not respect the court's decision to return the property to the Visoki Decani monastery," Radojevic added.
The international community says Radojevic, has remained silent on this, and many problems have accumulated.
"The culmination was the sending of Special Forces to the north of Kosovo and Metohija who assumed the role of the local police, therefore the existence of the local police was pointless," Radojevic said and recalled that after that 2,500 employees had left the institutions.
Radojevic reminded that the Serb List had legitimacy and the support of 90 percent of the Serbs and that it was clear that these people would boycott the elections.
"Prerequisites for going to the elections must be created, which do not exist now. There are no members of the Municipal Election Commission, who would provide the election material? It is unacceptable for us that Special Forces provide that material," Radojevic explained.
