Von Cramon: The murders and disappearances of Serbian and Albanian journalists must become a priority for the Government of Kosovo

The rapporteur of the European Parliament for Kosovo, Viola von Cramon, stated on Twitter regarding the last report she submitted to the European Parliament Foreign Affairs Committee, that "the long-term impunity for the murder and disappearance of Serbian and Albanian journalists in Kosovo must become a priority for the Government".

"The long-term impunity for the murder and disappearance of seven Serbian and six Kosovar Albanian journalists must become a priority for the government," Von Cramon's statement regarding the latest European Parliament report reads, among other things.

Von Cramon also stated that "Kosovo stands out in the Western Balkans when it comes to media freedom".

She recently met with the EU's special envoy for dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Miroslav Lajcak, who stated after the meeting that they "exchanged notes on the latest developments in the EU-mediated dialogue".
