Von der Leyen: It is important for Kosovo and Serbia to return to dialogue

President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen called on Kosovo and Serbia to return to dialogue, stating that it was the only path to the future.

Von der Leyen, during a conference with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama ahead of the Berlin Process Summit scheduled for tomorrow in Tirana, emphasized that Kosovo and Serbia needed to return to the table for the normalization of their relations.

"The Ohrid Agreement, reached in February and March, is the foundation, the basis for reconciliation in the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia led by the EU. It is very important for Kosovo and Serbia to return to the table to normalize their relations. The right place for reconciliation is the dialogue because it is the correct path to a future in which Kosovo and Serbia will be a part of the European Union," Von der Leyen stated.
