Vucic: All violators of Serbia's constitutional order will be prosecuted, arrested and tried

President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, today stated that Srecko Sofronijevic, hailed as a Serbian hero, was arrested by "bandits from Pristina" supported by the EU and the US, whose representatives in Kosovo, he claims, serve only to cover up every criminal decision made by Albin Kurti. Vucic announced that soon, all those who violate the constitutional order of Serbia and are located where Serbia has effective control will be prosecuted, arrested, and tried by Serbian authorities.

"Yesterday, the authorities in Pristina arrested the extremely brave Srecko Sofronijevic, who had already been wounded by Albanian terrorists in 2022. I say Albanian terrorists because Albanian police had no right to be in northern Kosovo. According to the UN Resolution and the Brussels Document, only regional police, who were Serbian, were allowed to be there. They injured the man, and today they are persecuting him for undermining the constitutional order of so-called Kosovo,” explained Vucic.

He stated that when the Serbian prosecutor's office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs are resolved to fully perform their duties, which he believes will be possible soon, all those who violate the constitutional order of Serbia and are located where Serbian authorities have effective control will be prosecuted, arrested, and tried.

"The constitution is the supreme legal act that everyone must adhere to, not according to the recommendations of certain embassies or powers," he emphasized.

"Srecko is a Serbian hero, wounded by bandits in Pristina. His arrest was carried out by the same bandits with direct support from the EU and the US. All those sitting down there, from EULEX to the US Ambassador Hovenier, serve only to cover up every criminal decision by Kurti. They serve no other purpose. Since they invoke the constitutional order and sovereignty of Kosovo, we cannot trample the constitutional order of Serbia. All of you who trample it in any way by participating in protests or anything else will be held accountable. All Albanians will answer for this. Serbs cannot be arrested for opposing someone somewhere, then you shoot them and push them into prison, without our response. You will no longer watch that movie," Vucic declared.

President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, declared today that Serbia will no longer listen to their lies.

"I have heard enough lies since December 2022 when I lied to myself and the wonderful guys from Kosovo and Metohija by saying that I trust them, believing in the promises and guarantees of people from the EU and America, who have brutally lied, as they do today and will continue to lie, explaining how it is for our own good. From now on, we will only do what is good for us, in accordance with our interests, our visions, and not in line with their views of our future," Vucic announced.

All Measures Taken Against Kosovo's Membership in the Council of Europe

He conveyed that the state leadership has taken all measures regarding the possible membership of Kosovo in the Council of Europe.

"I wrote letters to all members of the Council of Europe, 14 different letters to European leaders, mostly personalized. I addressed each one keeping in mind the specific circumstances and relationships we have. In one way to non-recognizers, in another to recognizers, to those with whom we have had special relations, especially to the countries that are considered the most influential. All these letters have been forwarded. In these letters, I requested that they reconsider their decision and the decision of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe which will follow in two days, that the decision at the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe be different," Vucic said.

He stated that when they talk about the rule of law, it is clear that in Kosovo there is everything but the rule of law, that there is naked terror being conducted against the Serbian people, that the Community of Serb Municipalities has not been formed after 11 years and that no process exists in this regard.

He also pointed out the trick they plan to use by sending it for a constitutionality check on May 11th, in order to blind someone and get a decision on membership in the Council of Europe.

"We will continue to fight," he emphasized.

Vucic said that he discussed this with French President Emmanuel Macron, who also spoke with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

"We will see how it will develop further. We will adhere to international legal norms and fight for truth and justice," he emphasized.

He added that he has not yet received responses because the letters were just sent, and it is too early to get responses.

"I haven't received any responses; we've just sent the letters, it's not even realistic. I spoke with ambassadors, sent messages to major centers, and in Beijing, Moscow, all around the world, I will talk with many presidents from different continents, but why should I reveal everything," Vucic said.

Vucic also conveyed that he wrote a letter to the President of the General Assembly of the United Nations, with whom he discussed the resolution on Srebrenica, adding that this letter will be delivered by special envoy Vuk Jeremic.

"Jeremic will deliver this letter tomorrow and convey all my verbal messages," said Vucic, expressing gratitude for this, although they do not agree politically.

He added that he will have special envoys at other addresses

"Yesterday I got official confirmation that the US will lobby very strongly for the Srebrenica resolution. And, I confirmed to them that I will fight very strongly against their lobbying. And I will continue with all my strength, energy, and as small as I am, from a much weaker country, because I don't think it's a matter of strength, but of justice and truth," Vucic declared.

He stated that the sanctity he guards and defends is much greater than the force attacking.

"We will fight, bravely and strongly, to the end and they will be surprised by the result. Our chances to win are small, but they will be surprised by the resistance of freedom-loving countries in the world and how popular the Serbian flag is among freedom-loving nations," added Vucic.

He recalled that the discussion in the Security Council about the NATO aggression on FR Yugoslavia was recently prevented with the argumentation that we should not return to the past, and now, he noted, those same people are opening a topic four years "older," and not in a "small body" of the UN like the Security Council, but before the largest – the General Assembly.

"To talk about their hypocrisy, lack of basis, and ruthlessness is pointless," the President of Serbia indicated.

He announced that in New York he will have consultations with friendly and freedom-loving countries to fight for every vote, despite knowing that his request goes "against the force, the hammer, and the anvil" of the most powerful in the world.

"We will do our best, and if they pass it, then we will nominate the same day for a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council, for 2025 and 2026, and we will defeat two NATO countries from Eastern Europe, which have already applied. And we will defeat them in everything, because it is clear that there is no talk, compromise, or agreement. In all bodies and organizations of the UN to defeat them," Vucic declared.

In response to the observation that Serbia will have an answer, although those who announced the resolution emphasize that it does not mention Serbs and Serbia.

"Nowhere will we mention the Germans, but we will submit resolutions about the genocide in Kragujevac, Kraljevo, Jajinci. And, who made them - you conclude. Then, next year a resolution on the genocide in Jasenovac, where 80 or 90 times more people died than in Srebrenica. And we will say that we have not attacked anyone, nor named anyone," said Vucic, adding that he heard that a resolution on the genocide of the Soviet and Russian people is also being prepared.

In response to criticisms regarding Serbia's consultations with Russia and China, he answers that he does not know with whom Belgrade should consult – whether with those who support the resolution on Srebrenica.

"To prepare another surprise for us, you who let Kurti into the Council of Europe, so that he too could file lawsuits against Serbia," said Vucic.

He also explained that it involves "tricks on multiple levels" – domestically in Serbia, with certain politicians and "anti-Serbian media," which, he says, implement even the worst policy imposed from abroad, then in the region, from all those who attack Serbs, and in global media, citing as an example the reporting of the British Telegraph.

"Some came and put on armor, saying – In Leposavic, Serbs have gathered, now they will attack Kosovo… Shame on you, liar. And they just don't care that they are 'liars squared', no apologies. They have been lying for 25, 26 months and probably think that no one should say anything to them. They forget a free and freedom-loving people in the heart of Europe, which they cannot subjugate," stated Vucic.

He reiterated that Serbia will fight strongly, because it has no choice, and will have many briefings in New York on the 23rd and 24th of April for, as he emphasizes, friendly countries.

"I can no longer call all of them friendly countries. From today, I call them partner countries, which is a nice euphemism that means nothing. We will have partners and friends in the world, and partners and friends in the region, and that is how we will act," said Vucic.

Asked whether he expects the situation in the Middle East to calm down after last night's attack by Iran on Israel, the President of Serbia said he expects a short-term easing.

"I expect a calming, but only temporarily, not in the long term," concluded President Vucic.
