Vucic among the most significant leaders participating in the World Economic Forum in Davos; Kurti again with a footnote

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has been announced among the most significant leaders of states and governments who will participate in the World Economic Forum in Davos next week, while Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti is again marked with a footnote in the organizers' announcement.

As announced in the statement, this year's Forum will be attended by more than 300 public figures, including over 60 heads of state and governments.

The highest political leaders participating include the Prime Minister of China, the President of France, the President of the European Commission, the President of Argentina, the Prime Ministers of Korea and Spain, the President of Switzerland, the President of Ukraine, Colombia, the Prime Ministers of Belgium, Greece, Iraq, Ireland, Jordan, Qatar, the Netherlands, the President of Kenya, Nigeria, Poland, Israel, and among them, the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic.

In Davos, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will be present, as well as National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and representatives from the Senate and the House of Representatives. Also, heads of international organizations will also be there.

Beside the name of Albin Kurti, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, there is an asterisk, with an explanation in the footnote.

"This designation is without prejudice to position on status and is in line with United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 (1999) and the International Court of Justice Opinion on the Kosovo declaration of independence", the official list of the World Economic Forum stated.
