Vucic: I will not recognize Kosovo, I am not for Kosovo in the UN, how many times do I have to repeat it
I was not for Kosovo in the United Nations and I would never recognize an independent Kosovo and I would never do anything in their favor, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said today at the session of the Serbian Parliament.
Vucic said that the head of MPs of the People's Party, Miroslav Aleksic, had spoken the most terrible lies, and asked how many times he should repeat them so that they would stop making things up, that he would never recognize Kosovo and that he had not been in favor of Kosovo's membership in the United Nations.
Vucic added that the People’s Party MPs had left the hall because they had been running away from the truth about the "theft".
"Imagine, you have a cup with a wolf on it, and that is proof that you are with Ulemek. Is it possible that you said that? How did you remember that, as if Prime Minister Djindjic was killed in my time," Vucic stated.
When asked why the representatives of the Serb List were on the balcony, he answered "because they represent the people of Kosovo and Metohija, whose trust they won, unlike some others who didn't even get three votes".
"Milan Radoicic is sitting there, who was accused, and the Albanian authorities accused him, so they withdrew the accusation, but that was enough to declare that man a murderer because they like him that way," Vucic said.
He pointed out that it was nonsense that he was afraid to explicitly say that he is not for Kosovo in the UN.
"Let me repeat, because it is not worth telling some people so many times: I am not for Kosovo in the UN and I will never recognize an independent Kosovo and I will never do anything in their favor. Where is the end of those lies," Vucic said.
He added that he started from himself when he talked about blackmail.
"Greater Serbia with a great leader in the region; we are currently the economic leader in the Western Balkans, and we shared fourth and fifth place, out of five plus one in the region. I have never boasted of excellent relations with leaders, and some have honored me," Vucic said.
He also pointed out that it was a lie that Slavko Simic, a member of the Serb List, had given a quorum for the establishment of the Kosovo Security Forces.
"How are you not ashamed to make things up, to put a mark on that man? No one from the Serb List was at that meeting. What did you do," Vucic said.
As for recognition, he said that they had all been secured during his time in power and that those countries certainly had not waited seven years to remember the decision of the International Court of Justice.
He presented information about Aleksic's school success, but also that he and his father-in-law, Ljubisa Knezevic, had formed the Fund for the Improvement of Citizens' Resources, through which, he said, they had extracted state money when the father-in-law had started working in the Nationa Employment Service.
He also rejected criticism of the Chinese investment in Bor, asking if they had wanted to destroy that investment, and he also stated that it had been a lie that he had had anything to do with Bill Clinton, whom he said he had met only twice in his life.
"It all comes down to Vucic, not Kosovo and Metohija. These are all fabrications," Vucic said.
He also announced an increase in subsidies for milk to Serbian farmers, and that he had been looking for a way to implement it, in order to increase the number of cows.
