Vucic: Kosovo is a part of Serbia, it was and will be

Kosovo is a part of the Republic of Serbia, it was and will be, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said today.

Speaking at a pre-election rally for the "Aleksandar Vucic - Serbia Must Not Stop" list in Leskovac, he pointed out that he had always dealt with difficult issues that others had not been willing to address.

"Everyone wants to say that Kosovo is the heart of Serbia, but if they can avoid Western pressure; if they don't agree with it; if they don't put their 'head in the bag' because Vucic will solve it... I always repeat, that Kosovo is a part of the Republic of Serbia, it is written in the Constitution. It was and will be", Vucic stated.

He also emphasized that, unlike those who would like to boast and sacrifice others' children, he would protect all children, their lives, and Kosovo.

He added that he had been to Brussels more than 200 times because of Kosovo.

"You can imagine the energy it takes just to preserve something, to protect vital national interests. Something small because they think they can attack it, because they know they can't get the bigger thing... There are always various bureaucratic forms because they know you're safeguarding the sacred and won't give them what they would prefer to ask for, which is Kosovo's independence", Vucic said.
