President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic met today in Mostar, where he is on a working visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak.

Vucic stated on Instagram that the conversation with Lajcak had been open and concrete.

"Another open and concrete discussion with Miroslav Lajcak about the increasing challenges ahead of us, the position of the Serbian people, events in Kosovo and Metohija, and the shrinking space for resolving open issues through constructive dialogue and respect for international law," Vucic stated.

He emphasized that during the meeting he had reiterated that Serbia persistently continued to pursue a responsible and serious policy of preserving peace and stability, emphasizing that there was no retreat or compromise when it came to the security of the Serbian people and the protection of national interests.

"As our longstanding partner, Lajcak knows that Serbia will always fight for its people, country, and truth. We have no other homeland, nor can we go any other way," Vucic added.

President Vucic will attend the official opening of the 25th International Fair of Economy in Mostar after the meeting, where he will address the audience.

Vucic will also visit the Serbian pavilion at the Fair, where 26 Serbian companies from various sectors will present their offerings with the aim of securing new deals and increasing exports to the region and beyond.

At the end of the visit, a meeting between President Vucic and representatives of Serbs from Mostar is expected.
