The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, emphasized that he had sent an official request to NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg for a meeting and that he expected the meeting to take place in the coming days.

During his visit to the construction site of the expressway from Pozarevac, via Veliko Gradiste, to the municipality of Golubac, Vucic stated that there will be a "trick" by the West regarding Kosovo in the near future.

"You will see a trick that certain individuals from the West will present, which is: 'return and have normal discussions, we have arrested 40 Serbs, we will threaten them a bit that we will continue with arrests, but it is de-escalation when they withdraw 25 percent of something.' No one knows what that means, but they are looking for a sufficient reason to blame Serbia because they have to protect their creation," Vucic said.

He questioned how the US imposed sanctions on the Director of the Security Intelligence Agency, Aleksandar Vulin, but there are no sanctions for the Minister of Internal Affairs of Kosovo, Xhelal Svecla.

"I know well what we have been discussing all these months, I know what you have been telling me and what I have been telling you. There will be no sanctions against them because it is known how balance must be achieved," Vucic said.

"Neither Americans nor Russians will dictate my politics, the politics I lead must be good for Serbia and the Serbian people," the President of Serbia emphasized.
