Vucic: New pressures are coming; some will not implement the CSM
The president of the Serbian Progressive Party, Aleksandar Vucic, assessed today, at the party's Presidency session that Serbia would face great pressure in the coming period because some would not implement the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities.
"Some will not implement the CSM. We will face great pressure. And in the midst of all this, they gave them visa liberalization. In the coming period, we will be under additional pressure. They want to drag Serbia into a conflict with NATO. If I were to be some kind of Putin, and Kurti were a kind of Zelenskyy. Unfortunately, they obviously have the support of part of the International Community in this, because it is their child," Vucic said.
He reminded that the CSM was defined by the Brussels Agreement.
Vucic adds that the international community had the opportunity to pressure Pristina with visa liberalization.
"But as you can see, it doesn't occur to them," Vucic emphasized.
"They do not want normalization. They all together want the humiliation of Serbia. No matter how hard they try to make it happen, I tell you that it will not happen - neither humiliation, capitulation, nor surrender will happen. We are preparing for talks on Monday and Tuesday After that, I'm going to Ohrid. Believe me, I don't even know why we're talking. Should we recognize Kosovo? It is all for nothing," Vucic said.
He announced that on April 26 or 27, he would announce the Party Assembly for May 27, when all party bodies would be elected.
"We don't hold City Municipal sessions often enough and it's good to get together and listen to each other. Regarding the party assembly, in accordance with the Serbian Progressive Party statute, which we talked about at the Presidency, on April 26 or 27, I will call the assembly for May 27 this year. Internal party elections are already underway, somewhere they are happening in a good way, somewhere in a less good way," he explained.
