Vucic: Serb List won 10 out of 10 seats, congratulations to our people in Kosovo and Metohija

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic announced that based on the results of the parliamentary elections in Kosovo, the Serb List secured all ten possible seats and will be a barrier against further attacks by Albin Kurti.

"We are still waiting for the results from Srbica, but only 143 Serbs turned out there. Yet the results are clear, the Serb List won ten out of ten possible seats. Congratulations to the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija. These results are almost unbelievable, especially considering everything that Kurti did to destroy the Serbian people and the Serb List. Everything that many foreigners did to destroy the Serb List, secretly and openly aiding all others against the strongest Serbian representative," Vucic noted in a video message recorded from the Office for Kosovo and Metohija.

He congratulated the Serb List and expressed infinite gratitude to the Serbian people.

"This also represents enormous trust in me. The Serb List won without the votes from Srbica and without internally displaced persons, receiving 38,533 votes, while the next highest received 3,217 votes. It is quite clear that the Serb List undoubtedly secures all ten mandates and will be a barrier to further attacks by Kurti," emphasized Vucic.

He reminded that Albin Kurti "until yesterday celebrated the destruction in Belgrade."

"I fear now he will have to worry more about himself and his survival in power. Thank you to the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija for so much faith, love, and trust. All I can tell you is that Kosovo is Serbia, and I love you immensely," Vucic conveyed.

The President of Serbia also wrote on Instagram that he is grateful to the team of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija for everything they have done to secure the ten mandates.
