Vucic: Serbia will not serve anyone despite numerous pressures from various sides

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced tonight that a record level of foreign direct investment has been achieved, and that the IMF has confirmed a new arrangement, emphasizing that these two important things for the country come at a time of great pressure, with which various sides are trying to bring down Serbia. He said that Serbia will not serve anyone.

"Dear people, we received two pieces of good information tonight. The first is that we have overtaken the previous year, 2023, which was a record year in terms of foreign direct investment. So, this year, 2024, is the best year for us in terms of attracting foreign direct investment, already on December 10. We will have more investments in the next 20 days," Vucic said in a video address on Instagram.

He also stated that Serbia received confirmation of everything that has been done by the IMF, namely the new arrangement for the coming three years, as an additional confirmation of everything that has been done to secure an investment credit rating.

"And I am saying this at a time that is not easy for our country, when we are under pressure from different sides, when they are trying to destroy Serbia with all possible hybrid means of attack on a free and sovereign country. At such times, receiving such news, building railways and roads is something special and I am particularly proud of that," added President Vucic.

He announced that in the coming days he would announce how much money had entered the country, intended for the destruction of Serbia.

"To those who think they are going to destroy Serbia, I just want to say that, whenever they think they can hide how much they hate this country, we will reveal to you all the details of how much money has been paid in the days and weeks ahead. In detail, how much money has been paid in the past four years to destroy Serbia. How much is it worth for Serbia not to be free and independent, not to make its own decisions, not to choose its own future, but to have to listen to and serve someone else. And I tell you all those who are trying to destroy Serbia – we will not serve anyone,” Vucic said.

He also emphasized that he is not (Bashar al) Assad and that he will not flee Serbia anywhere.

“I am alive, I have lived here my whole life in Serbia. Grateful to my Serbia, I will stay here. This is my place as long as I live. I will fight for Serbia and I will serve only my Serbian people and all other citizens of Serbia, never foreigners, never those who want to defeat, humiliate and destroy Serbia. I hope you have understood me well. I am so determined and sure of what I am telling you, that I guarantee you that you will never defeat Serbia! Long live Serbia!”, concluded President Vucic.
