Vucic: Serbia's vision is to become a regional leader; we have no time to waste
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, summing up the past working week, stated that Serbia's vision was to become a regional leader in the economy and other areas, saying that there was no time to lose despite the complex global situation.
In a post on Instagram, Vucic pointed out that Serbia had shown at the fair in Abu Dhabi that it was a serious player in the defense industry, adding that a mega-factory of one of the world's largest giants in the field of the auto industry had been opened in Novi Sad, as well as that The International Tourism Fair had been held in Belgrade.
Summing up his impressions, Vucic adds that he had an exceptional meeting with the President of Abu Dhabi, Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.
"This meeting was of great importance, not only in terms of the further expansion of our excellent bilateral relations but also in the context of the additional development of our defense industry. As proud as I was of our Serbia in Abu Dhabi, I was as happy at the opening of the second factory of Continental Company in Novi Sad, which represents the paradigm of our vision of success and progress. And that vision is to become undisputed regional leaders in the economy, infrastructure, healthcare, education, culture, and new technologies because we have the strength and intelligence for that," Vucic said.
He said that it was necessary to continue building a safe future for the citizens of Serbia and the generations to come.
"We are waiting for the implementation of a large number of projects, the conclusion of new contracts, and more investors, because Serbia has no time to lose, regardless of the complex global situation. We must build a secure future for all our people and for the generations to come," Vucic said.
