Vucic: We are in possession of another note on the withdrawal of recognition of Kosovo

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said tonight that Serbia was in possession of another note for the withdrawn recognition of Kosovo's independence.

"We have an agreement to wait ten days before we disclose which country we are talking about. It would be the 27th or 28th country withdrawing recognition since we are not sure about one country," he explained in a statement to reporters in Munich.

Vucic reported that today in Munich he had had talks with the President of France, the German Chancellor, the Prime Minister of Greece, the US Secretary of State, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Great Britain, as well as the High Representative for EU Foreign and Security Policy Josep Borrell.

"We also had very good talks with the British, as well as with our Greek friends, and very important ones with the Germans, French, and Americans. The key topic was, of course, the dialogue with Pristina, but also our bilateral economic and political relations, and Serbia's European path is understood," he stressed.

Vucic expressed his belief that the delegation had represented Serbia's interests well.

"People in Serbia must know that there was no epoch-making positive news and there cannot be, bearing in mind the situation in which our country has been for several decades, especially the last 15 years since the declaration of Kosovo's independence. It's good that we came, that we could explain our position precisely and rationally. We met the respect of the representatives of the US, Germany, France, Great Britain, and Greece," he stressed.

Vucic said that tomorrow there would be talks regarding the continuation of the dialogue in Brussels with Borrell and Miroslav Lajcak, who also attended today's meeting with Emmanuel Macron and Olaf Scholz.

"We talked about the necessity of forming the CSM. They said at the meeting that they knew the lines that Serbia would not cross. They were precise and clear," he said.
