Vucic: Withdrawing 25 percent of the police from the north is a trick; the matrix always the same - the Serbs are a disruptive factor

Serbs have always been viewed as a disruptive factor, and it is true that there is a matrix that everyone should be given everything, and everything should be taken away from the Serbs, pointed out tonight the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic.

Vucic told for TV Pink that not only double standards were being applied to Serbs, but also more than that.

Regarding Pristina's decision to withdraw 25 percent of the Kosovo Police around municipal buildings in the north of Kosovo, he underlined that it was a trick.

He pointed out that Serbs were mistreated in Kosovo every day.

"Serbs say - 'we waited 10 years for the formation of the CSM', 'you arrest our people, shoot them'..., seven Serbs have been wounded since the beginning of the year. Nobody cares who shot Dragisa Galjko, and he was shot twice in the back from members of the so-called Kosovo police. No one is conducting an investigation, neither Pristina, nor EULEX, nor KFOR. Injuring Serbs is allowed. But that's why if he has a flag, a T-shirt, or doesn't like Kurti, Svecla and Bislimi personally, he can be arrested and he has been in prison for more than two years," he pointed out.

He pointed out that the aim of the unfounded arrest in Strpce was to leave the Serbs in that municipality without leadership, and to make Strpce no longer have a vote for Serbia, but only for Pristina.

Vucic said that the problem was not that he sometimes had to give in because someone was stronger, but the problem was, he underlined, that someone treated Serbia as a country as a "jerk".

"The turnout in the elections in the north was less than three percent, and the whole West stated that these were legal elections, even though they cannot be legal. According to the Brussels agreement, they had to form the CSM and then go to everything else, including to participate in the elections. Since they pretend to be great democrats, it is difficult for them to say that these elections have legitimacy," he explained.

He pointed out that Kurti brought his friend, cousin Adem Demaqi to power in those elections.

"To all this, the Serbs say "do what you want, just don't harass us", and then the early Serbs, search the ambulance, bring charges for alleged war crimes, even though these people worked for ten years in the Kosovo police. They did it out of revenge. This bullying is happening every day," he underlined.

Vucic stated that they set up their checkpoints outside of the Brussels Agreement, just to show that they have enough power and strength to harass the Serbs.

He said that at a meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and French President Emmanuel Macron in Chisinau, he was angry when they brought a proposal, according to which the Albanian mayors should have resigned and the Serbs should participate in the elections.

"I asked what they did. Did they form the CSM? To all that, Kurti says "we are not interested in that, we will not do it." Then they call from Brussels and say that you Serbs must write a petition, and Soltz and Macron said that the mayors must resign. They play these games with us because they know that we have something to lose, that our country is growing, has a growing economy," he pointed out.

Vucic underlined that everything that happens in Kosovo concerned all citizens in all of Serbia.

He said that the EU said that the protests in front of the municipalities should be stopped because 25 percent of the police officers are withdrawing.

"I guess now they will beat and arrest us 25 percent less, although they don't guarantee that. We have to withdraw from the buildings, because that doesn't contribute to peace," he pointed out.

Vucic emphasized that the problem was that they had brute force and no one respected the law.

In this connection, he mentioned that all nations in Montenegro, except for the Serbs making up 30 percent of the population, would have their representatives in the government, claiming that the Serbs are a disruptive factor.

"When they talk about the CSM, they insult the Serbs, insulting the Republic of Srpska. Every time they say we don't want the Republic of Srpska. What's wrong with the Republic of Srpska? Are you saying that the Republic of Srpska should not exist? Do you want to introduce Budak's theory, or implement Hitler's principles?", he asked.

He also pointed out that in Slovenia, although Serbs are the second largest ethnic group, Serbs cannot even be a national minority, because if they asked for it, they would be talking about dreams of a great Serbia.

"There is a matrix according to which we are viewed as a disruptive factor, from which everything should be taken away," concluded Vucic.

We can't go  against the whole world, we have to protect the national interest with a well-thought-out policy

Vucic also pointed out that Serbia could not go against the whole world, because that would be suicide, but that we need a rational and thoughtful policy in which the national interests and lives of the Serbian people will be protected.

"We can't go head-to-head against the whole world, that would be wrong, suicide," said Vucic and stated that he would not allow the whole world to make us crazy.

He points out that Serbia must develop, that the country is on the European path and must be, not because he is fascinated by Brussels, but because of national and state interests and the economy.

"Whether we will experience a better situation in the world, I don't know, but the world is changing in a historical sense, Asian countries will already dominate in 2030, along with the USA, which will continue to be number one, everything else is falling. Will the pressure increase, it will , that is a question for the next generation of politicians. It is important that what we are not blackmailed for, we do with the Europeans. Imagine how important it is for Russia that there are countries in the EU that want to cooperate with them," said the president.

He points out that Serbia needs a rational, thoughtful policy, which will protect national interests, preserve the lives of citizens, "in which we will know how to raise children, in which we will not be ashamed of filming a film about Jasenovac, erecting a monument to the heroes of Kosare".

"These are things that we can do and be ready so that if our people are attacked, we will be able to defend them, but to run away from it," he stressed.

When asked about today's incidents in the Assembly of Kosovo, Vucic says that "it's not better here either."

Regarding the meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, Vucic says that he will inform the public as soon as it is scheduled, and he believes that it will be in the next few days.

Serbia is ready to defend its people if it is attacked on Kosovo and Metohija

Vucic stated that Serbia would be ready to defend its people if it was attacked on Kosovo and Metohija.

"As much as possible, let's avoid it, and let's deal with the economy, factories, roads and railways. As for our people in Kosovo and Metohija, I don't know if it's more difficult for me to talk to the representatives of our people in the north of Kosovo and Metohija or with people from Belgrade or with my associates who understand well what is happening, or with those from Brussels, who know perfectly well that we know that they are deceiving us," said Vucic.

He added that those from Brussels knew that we knew what their interests were.

"But they also know that we have to weigh," said Vucic.

When asked if the West was ready to give up Albin Kurti, Vucic said that it was less important, but that it was much more significant that no one from the West reacted to what the Bosniak member of the Bosnia and Herzegovina presidency, Denis Becirovic, said.

He is worried, he says, because of the way in which Becirovic asked the question "whether it is possible for the genocide to happen again".

As he says, Becirovic wanted to say that "there are natural criminals in the country and in the neighborhood who intend to repeat crimes, genocide".

He asked on what basis they concluded that and points out that it is actually a message to the Bosniak people "hate the Serbs" because those Serbs will kill us again, we must be ready to welcome them.

"No one reacted, and my message is that the Serbs want friendship, my message is to the Bosniaks - we live with you, not next to you, we want to show how much we want to overcome bad things that happened," said Vucic and added that if they asked for an apology from us, then they should also apologize for what they did to the Serbs within the NDH.

He pointed out that no one invested more in Novi Pazar, Sjenica than this government.

"We have fantastic mosques in Sjenica, Novi Pazar, as well as churches and monasteries, you don't know what is a better heritage of this country," he said.

He asked who is working on the "Greater Serbia" project, given that he is not working.

"The bottom line is that the Serbs must be guilty of everything and responsible for everything, and this has been going on since Austria-Hungary, when they brought the Islamic population to the Drina in order to suppress Serbian domination, as they themselves said," said the President of Serbia.
