Vulovic: Tense and difficult situation in Zubin Potok; Bozovic's detention extended

Former mayor of Zubin Potok, Srdjan Vulovic, stated in an interview with TV Most that the situation in the municipality was extremely tense and difficult due to the actions of the Kosovo Special Forces and that the residents were disturbed because the detention of their fellow citizen, Milovan Bozovic, had been extended.

Vulovic emphasizes that the municipal building is still usurped and that under these conditions, normal life cannot proceed.

"The ROSU Special Units have been occupying the building for a month and a half now, preventing us from accessing our workplaces. In addition, they have usurped the property of Serbian landowners, on which they have built bases, set up three checkpoints, and roamed the town with long guns. Life is not proceeding normally. The worst part is that our children live in fear of the Albanian special units," Vulovic says.

Speaking about the arrested Serbs, including Milovan Bozovic from Zubin Potok, he highlights that he was one of the first Serbs arrested in northern Kosovo.

"The man is completely innocent, accused without any evidence, and now his detention has been extended for another month. We are in constant contact with his lawyer and his family. The state of Serbia has provided guarantees for him to defend himself freely, but the Kosovo institutions did not take that into consideration," Vulovic states.

He emphasizes that the entire Bozovic family is endangered.

"Milovan has three underage children, the oldest being six years old and the youngest being two years old. His mother underwent cancer surgery, and his father, in the meantime, developed diabetes as a kidney patient, so the entire family is truly endangered. The Kosovo institutions have no evidence; they simply keep the man in detention for two months, and who knows how much longer he will remain there," Vulovic concluded.
