On December 3, the Association of the Serbs and Macedonians "Branko Cajka" from Tetovo rounded off the activities to mark the 30th anniversary of its existence, with the promotion of a monograph on its activities in the past three decades.

Those present at the promotion had the opportunity to visually, through a video presentation, follow some of the activities that took place during these 30 years of existence, which had been recorded in the monograph. Milutin Stancic from the Serbian Cultural and Informational Center in Skopje gave a speech about the publication.

"This association shows how it can defy time and with its persistence and massiveness, it has shown the capacity to achieve results. The monograph has about 50 pages, with photos and text; we have a large number of names of people whose signatures are on many contracts, so it is an accurate indicator of the times behind us. For me, it is a big step forward for the Association that ten years ago started the event called "We write and create in the Serbian language", which I can say exceeds the capacity of regular classes”, Milutin Stancic pointed out in his speech.

The association was founded in 1992 to develop activities in the field of spiritual and cultural life, traditions, and mutual relations between the Macedonians and Serbs.

"The monograph was conceived as a written memorial for all the members who built it with great enthusiasm and wrote the pages of the Association's 30-year history. With its selfless work, effort, and commitment, it left a kind of a recognizable mark in the cultural life of the city and beyond," Sonja Andonov, the author of the monograph and current president of the Association emphasized at the promotion.

The Cultural and Artistic Society "Branko Cajka" also works successfully within the Association. In its repertoire, the company equally cherishes Serbian and Macedonian folklore, performing at numerous concerts in the city, region, North Macedonia, Serbia, and beyond, where it receives significant awards and recognitions. At the promotion, the Association also awarded certificates of appreciation to individuals and groups for cooperation.
