REC: The list "Aleksandar Vucic - Serbia Must Not Stop" won 71.56 percent of the votes of the Serbs from Kosovo

When it comes to voters from the territory of Kosovo, the list "Aleksandar Vucic - Serbia Must Not Stop" won the highest number of votes (71.56 percent) in the parliamentary elections in Serbia, according to data from the Republic Electoral Commission.

Based on the processed results from all polling stations in the Kosovo and Metohija region, a total of 23,878 voters out of 94,161 registered in the region participated in the elections. The percentage of invalid ballots was 3.35 percent.

The highest percentage of votes, 71.56 percent, went to the list "Aleksandar Vucic - Serbia Must Not Stop", which received 17,087 votes from the Serbs in Kosovo.

The second-largest party among the Serbs in Kosovo, in terms of votes, is the Socialist Party of Serbia, which garnered 9.42 percent of the votes. The National Gathering (Dveri and Oathkeepers) received 2.69 percent, while the coalition NADA, consisting of the New Democratic Party of Serbia and the Movement for the Restoration of the Kingdom of Serbia, secured 3.78 votes.

The coalition "Serbia against Violence" received 4.36 percent, while the list "We - Voice from the People", led by Dr. Branimir Nestorovic, received 2.42 percent, or 579 votes from the Serbs in Kosovo. All other lists received less than one percent of the votes.

It is noteworthy that certain parties that passed the threshold in the preliminary results of the parliamentary elections had only one or no votes in some municipalities in Kosovo.

For example, in the municipality of Gora, the National Gathering coalition received only one vote, the list "We - Voice from the People" also received one vote, while the NADA coalition received no votes.

In Prizren, the National Gathering and Branimir Nestorovic's list remained with zero votes, NADA had only one vote, and Serbia against Violence had four votes.

In Orahovac, the National Gathering and NADA each received three votes, Serbia against Violence had one, and Nestorovic had none.

The list "We - Voice from the People" had a similar outcome in Urosevac, Klina, Peja, and Srbica, with only one vote, and similar results were observed for the others. In Urosevac, the National Gathering received no votes, while NADA and Serbia against Violence each had one vote. In Klina, the National Gathering and NADA received zero votes, and Serbia against Violence had one.

The National Gathering and NADA each received two votes in Peja and Srbica, while "We - Voice from the People" had one vote in both municipalities.

Let’s recall that in the previous elections in 2022, the list "Aleksandar Vucic - Together We Can Do Everything" received 12,586 votes (64.04 percent) from voters in the Kosovo region. Therefore, in the 2023 elections, this list garnered a higher number of votes, coupled with a higher turnout of the Serbs from Kosovo at the polls.
