REC: Turnout in Serbia until 6 p.m. is 51.93 percent; nearly 22,000 voters from Kosovo have voted

The Republic Electoral Commission announced that the turnout in the parliamentary elections in Serbia until 6 p.m. was 51.93 percent. Nearly 22,000 voters from Kosovo voted by 6 p.m., which is more than last year. Director of the Republic Statistical Office, Miladin Kovacevic, stated that in Vojvodina, 52.24 percent of voters participated, in Sumadija and Western Serbia 52.75 percent, in Southern and Eastern Serbia 51.84 percent, while the turnout in Belgrade was 51.07 percent of voters.
Kovacevic stated that in the parliamentary and presidential elections on April 3 last year, the turnout by 6 p.m. was 50.82 percent, and the final turnout was 58.6 percent.
REC President Vladimir Dimitrijevic stated that nearly 22,000 voters from Kosovo had voted by 6 p.m., which was about 12 percent more than in the previous elections for the entire day when a total of 19,654 voters had participated.
