Citizens of Pristina point out that the political crisis is affecting the economy and everyday life, while, as they say, politicians are not paying enough attention to it. Although they hope for better days, they are skeptical that they will come anytime soon.

Izet Zulja emphasized that the political situation has a very negative impact on the economy and the lives of citizens.

“To tell you the truth, it affects us very badly. We get frustrated every day. However, politicians do not care about that. They continue with their own ideas, and they are not at all interested in the fact that we are facing economic problems,” Zulja said.

His fellow citizen briefly commented that the economic situation is not good.

“It is hard, it’s not very good,” she said.

Another resident of Pristina said that prices have gone up and that there are many economic problems in Kosovo.

“I can only say that there are problems, because there is a big devaluation, prices are going up, but I think everything will turn out fine in the end,” he said.

Another citizen added that the political situation mostly affects ordinary people.

“All this affects the people the most. Things are not going well. We are waiting for a solution, we are hopeful, but whether that will happen – that is a big question,” one of the interviewed citizens said.
