Several hundred Serbs from Zvecan, North Mitrovica, and Leposavic, around 2 pm, walked to the Bistrica Bridge in Zvecan to protest the wounding of their compatriot Milan Jovanovic, who was shot at by a Kosovo Police patrol the night before last.

Milan's wife, Marina Jovanovic, invited the citizens to the protest near the Bistrica Bridge via social networks.

The gathered citizens came along the main road Zvecan-Raska and carried banners that read "Get out of here", "Europe, they are shooting at us", and "You don't belong here".

At the head of the column was Jovanovic's wife.

At one point, about 500 meters from the police station near the Bistrica Bridge, the police tried to stop the citizens.

According to the reporter of Kosovo Online, the negotiations lasted 10-15 minutes and the walk continued with twenty police officers accompanying the column of citizens.

The column was stopped at the checkpoint where the citizens had set up a table where the signing of the petition was organized, which demands the withdrawal of all Special Police units from the north.

A large number of citizens also gathered on the side of the bridge from the direction of Leposavic. Not far away, in front of them, is a traffic police station.

According to the gathered citizens, they came to protest because of the arrest of the Serbs, shooting at them, and everything they were exposed to in Kosovo during the previous years.
