The first babies of the year were born in the maternity ward in Pasjane. On the third day of the new year, a boy arrived into the world around 1:00 p.m., and an hour later, a girl was born.

The first baby of the year in the Pasjane maternity ward was born to Melisa Ramic from Strpce. This is her second child, and at home, she has a daughter who was also born in this maternity ward.

"This is my second baby born here. I am satisfied, just like with my daughter. She was also born here, and we were extremely pleased with how they took care of the baby and looked after me. Yesterday we received a gift from Red Star fans; we got a jersey for the baby, and we thank them on this occasion," Ramic said.

Dragana Jovic, from Ranilug, gave birth to her first child yesterday. She brought Kalina, a baby girl, into the world.

"This is my first baby; I gave birth on January 3rd, and I am extremely satisfied with the conditions here in the hospital and the medical staff," Jovic said.

Dr. Marina Jovanovic, who conducted the deliveries, emphasized that both deliveries had gone well and that the babies had received high scores at birth.

"Yesterday, within less than an hour's difference, two babies were born. The first baby was born around 1:00 p.m. through a Caesarean section. Mom Melisa from Strpce got a boy, while the second baby was born after an hour through natural delivery, and mom Dragana got a girl. Both babies received high scores at birth, and everything went smoothly," Jovanovic said.

In the Pasjane maternity ward, 126 babies were born last year, and since the opening of the maternity ward, a total of 1,061 babies have been born.
