Murals dedicated to Patriarch Pavle and Metropolitan Amfilohije and other graffiti painted over in North Mitrovica and Zvecan

During the night between Saturday and Sunday, several unidentified individuals, assisted by members of the Kosovo Police, painted over murals and graffiti in North Mitrovica that were connected with Serbian national symbols and historical figures. Among them, the mural dedicated to Patriarch Pavle and Metropolitan Amfilohije was painted over.

In addition, members of the Kosovo Police broke open the gate of the Technical School in North Mitrovica, where some graffiti were also painted over.

A graffiti that had become one of the symbols of the town on the Ibar, which read “Because from here there is no going back,” was also painted over.

At the same time, with the assistance of the Kosovo Police, graffiti in Zvecan was painted over as well.
