Nikola Nedeljkovic arrived at the Mutivode crossing around 1:00 p.m., where he was brought by prison guards from Kosovska Mitrovica, and there, six months later, he met his parents and sister again, after which they headed for Belgrade.

"I'm fine, I can't wait to hug my parents," Nikola told for Kosovo online shortly after crossing the Mutivode crossing.

Nikola Nedeljkovic (20) from Belgrade, who was arrested on Vidovdan in Gazimestan, after which he was sentenced to prison, was initially sentenced to eight months in prison for allegedly "causing ethnic hatred and intolerance".

The Court of Appeal in Pristina then reduced his sentence to six months.

According to his lawyer Jovana Filipovic, "he is banned from entering Kosovo for the next year".
