Serbs at the barricades 14 days, determined to stay until demands are met
Serbs at the barricades in northern Kosovo have persisted for 14 days in their demands for the release of Dejan Pantic and other Serbian citizens who were arrested without grounds by the Kosovo police in the previous days.
The gathered people spent another night under the open sky, in the cold, at the barricades that were placed on the main road routes in northern Kosovo, but they decided to stay there until the demands were met.
This determination was best demonstrated yesterday by the magnificent meeting in Rudare near Zvecani, where thousands of people gathered from all over Kosovo.
Messages were sent from the meeting that Kosovo Serbs would not tolerate the arbitrariness of the Pristina authorities and the terror that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti was inflicting on them.
Those gathered carried banners with messages to the official Pristina, among which the dominant one was "Kurti, Kosmet is not your dowry, this is our heritage".
Those gathered said that yesterday's meeting brought additional strength to persevere at the barricades until the final fulfillment of the demands and showed the determination and unity of the Serbs in their intentions.
