Gucati: Thank you to the US for allowing Clark to testify in The Hague

The President of the KLA War Veterans Organization, Hysni Gucati, believes that the testimony of former US General Wesley Clark will be shocking for the representatives of the Kosovo Specialist Chambers and that the defense team has achieved a great success by obtaining permission for Clark to appear in The Hague.

“Clark’s testimony will be shocking for them. Shocking, because it is a great achievement that they managed to convince him. In the United States, you must obtain permission to go and testify. We thank the US government for allowing him to testify, and we look forward to hearing Clark’s testimony on November 19,” Gucati said.

Former US General Wesley Clark was the commander of NATO forces during the 1999 bombing of Serbia.

He will also be the final defense witness to testify in favor of Hashim Thaci and other former KLA leaders currently on trial in The Hague for war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague previously announced that former NATO commander during the Kosovo war, Wesley Clark, will begin his testimony on November 18, while November 21 has been set as a reserve date for his hearing.
