The father of the beaten Stefan Tomic from Klokot, Ivica Tomic, told Kosovo Online that he was very disappointed and upset about what had happened to his son.

Tomic said that his son had been beaten by eight Albanians when he had been returning from the midnight Christmas liturgy with his brother.

"My son was returning from church with his cousin and while they were passing by the local tavern 'Kalaja', a group of eight Albanians came out from the other side of the road, including the tavern's security, and attacked them, injuring my son eye, rib, both knees, and elbows. They cursed their 'Serbian mother," Tomic said.

Ivica Tomic added that his son had called him on the phone and informed him of what had happened and had gone to report the case at the nearby police station.
"I am disappointed, because they kept my son for questioning in the police until 7 o'clock this morning, as if he were the perpetrator. He did nothing to provoke this," Tomic pointed out.
