The police officer suspected of wounding Milan Jovanovic was ordered to be detained for 30 days

A member of the Kosovo Police, who is suspected of wounding Milan Jovanovic on Monday evening near the Bistrica Bridge, was ordered to be detained for 30 days and is charged with the crimes of "attempted murder" and "manipulation of evidence", Nacionale reports.

The basic court in South Mitrovica decided to order the four arrested police officers to be detained.

"K.P. was ordered to be detained for 30 days and is suspected of the crimes of "attempted murder" and "manipulation of evidence", Zakletva za pravdu reports.

As they add, for the other three police officers who are suspected of the crime of "failure to report a crime", S.U., F.M., and M.M., a house arrest measure of 30 days was determined.

The Kosovo police initially announced that they had not been involved in that case, but a day later, they admitted that a police officer had been involved in the shooting in which a Serb had been injured.
