Berisha: A frozen conflict is emerging in the north; Albin Kurti is to blame for that
The MP of the Democratic Party of Kosovo Hysen Berisha said that security in Kosovo was threatened, while a frozen conflict was emerging in the north, for which, according to him, Prime Minister Albin Kurti was responsible.
"Resigned Serbs can be threatened, but they can also be influenced by their compatriots from the Serb List and others. This undermines the security of the country in the full sense of the word and turns the situation in the north of Kosovo into a frozen conflict," Berisha told Gazeta Blic, who is a member of the Parliamentary Committee for Defense and Security.
Albin Kurti is to blame for all that, he believes.
"All this came about and is happening because of Kurti's populist and inconsistent policy with the relevant factors of the international military presence and our strategic partners from the Quint," Berisha said.
He also stated that the Serbs who had resigned from the Kosovo Police today could be threatened, for which Albin Kurti bore the blame, as well as for the situation in the north.
