Vucic: I'm going to Brussels, but I'm not an optimist, I don't trust the Germans anything about Kosovo
The conversation in Brussels will take place tomorrow morning at eight, I am not optimistic, but I will travel to Brussels, the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on TV Prva regarding the EU's invitation for a meeting with Albin Kurti.
The President of Serbia, in a guest appearance on TV Prva, pointed out that "there is no doubt that the situation is more difficult than in the last 10 years, and it is not just about the license plates".
"In Berlin, Kurti, for the umpteenth time, but then at perhaps the most important place in Europe, said that he would not form the CSM. This means that the Brussels Agreement is valid for him only in the part he likes. He announced the stages for the license plates, the last of which was the confiscation of the vehicle, and the third message was about the dismissal of Nenad Djuric, the police commander in the north. Kurti has no right to dismiss him, nor to question his appointment. Then the Serbs realized that there was no agreement with that man", Vucic said and declared that he was going to Brussels so that they would not get a sufficient reason to accuse Serbia of not wanting to talk.
He also says that he asked the EU envoy, Miroslav Lajcak, "why are you inviting me anyway".
Kurti showed that he does not want Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija
Nowhere does it say that Pristina has the right to re-register vehicles, Vucic explained.
"They will never say that their child (so-called Kosovo) is the culprit. The parents (Quinte) cannot admit that," the president said, answering the question why Kurti was not the only one invited to Brussels to fulfill his obligations.
He reminds that when you are cornered, then you have nowhere to go.
"If he had wanted to postpone the decision, he would have postponed it earlier. I think the idea is to give him the opportunity to postpone the supposedly correct decision. Kurti has shown that he does not want Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija. He wanted to appoint someone who got 30 times fewer votes than the MPs from the Serb List," Vucic said.
Serbs are not returning to institutions
The Serbs are not returning to the institutions, but they want to prevent Kurti's infernal plan that his Serbs should admit that there is a so-called Kosovo Army, to abolish the double majority and to say that there is no need for the CSM, Vucic explained.
"After that, Pristina would say that the Serbs agreed to not having CSM," the president said.
He pointed out that efforts are being made to destroy normal, decent and rational Serbia.
"This morning I have heard that there is a plan, which is also bad. Where did you see that plan? Give it to me and I will sign it immediately, so that Pristina does not enter the UN," Vucic said and added that Serbia will never be offered that plan.
He says that the story about “that plan was planted because the politicians of the former government hid in a mouse hole when there was a pogrom of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, when the so-called Kosovo declared independence, and when borders on Jarinje and Brnjak were set.”
The Kosovo police have nothing to look for in the north of Kosovo and Metohija
Vucic added that the following day he was attacked because the Serbs returned to the renegade assembly in Pristina. And, the very those who attacked him had previously led a campaign to allow the ones who got one percent of the votes to enter the assembly.
He said that as soon as Albin Kurti and Rada Trajkovic "croaked" against it, there was no need to explain to anyone that it was a good move by the Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija.
He says that Pristina couldn’t wait to call new elections.
"As things stand, I am absolutely sure that the Serb List will boycott those elections. Of course, they will be under pressure," the president warned.
The president says that if an agreement is not reached tomorrow, "hell on the field" may arise.
"Because the Special Kosovo Police has nothing to look for in the north of Kosovo and Metohija. Serbia will be with its people. The Serbs will guard their hearths."
When asked if this would mean that there could be a war, he answers,"I hope it won't happen, but it's no longer up to us. We've done everything to avoid it."
He points out that the situation will depend solely on the pressure of the international community on Pristina.
"We had a fair statement by Stuart Pitch who said that the CSM must be formed. We can count on ourselves and that's it, no one created the state for us but us. A lot of blood was shed by the Serbian people to create a state, it has been going on for many centuries, so that we would have our independence and no one has ever created it for us," Vucic says.
As for the talks on how to improve the Franco-German proposal, the president says that there is no progress because "they didn't give us a chance."
"I never commented on it in detail, even though we wrote the answer in a non-paper. If you ask me, I'm not saying that we refused, nor that we accepted, because we are ready to talk, but they simply didn't give us a chance," he says.
He stated that this proposal looks like they put us in the ring to box for three rounds, and then tied our hands to the ropes.
"We cannot fall, because we are bound, but we will be dead," the President of Serbia said.
When asked if he believes that the EU and America cannot convince Kurti, Vucic stated that America is certainly trying and that they do not want a conflict because it does not suit them, but that he does not trust the others when it comes to Kosovo and Metohija, especially the Germans.
"We can only count on ourselves. No one created a country for us but us. We always had those who thought they could help us and fight for us depending on their interests. The Serbs fought for their country, for their freedom. We are trying to have good relations with all countries, but we cannot have good relations with those who say fight, you will lose, but it is important that you left your heart on the field," Vucic said.
"Peace depends on pressure from Western countries on Pristina. I don't believe in Kurti's rationality. Postponement means nothing, you have to face it. They didn't give us a chance. We are ready for talks, but they just didn't give us a chance," Vucic said.
