Brnabic: CSM formation is a condition of all conditions
The Prime Minister of Serbia stated that the formation of the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities, as defined by the Brussels Agreement, "is a condition of all conditions," RTV reports.
In response to questions from journalists in Lebane, where the Government is celebrating 100 days of work, she said that if that agreement was not honored, who could guarantee that any other agreement would be honored.
"There is no interest of Pristina in forming the CSM, but for me, neither a desire to implement the signed agreements. It is a condition of all conditions, but not as imagined by some NGO from Serbia, from Kosovo and Metohija or by any politician, but the CSM in accordance with agreements from 2013 and 2015," Brnabic said.
She reminded that in April, it would be ten years since the first Brussels Agreement was signed, and added that the implementation of the agreement was something completely natural and expected.
Brnabic emphasized that the first 100 days of the Government were marked by four parts and that the first part was related to the budget.
She added that she knew someone would say that the budget was not the greatest success, but she emphasized that it was what the further growth and development of Serbia depended on, as well as the standard of living and the number of investments.
"It is important what the budget is and that it is developmental despite all the challenges that we and the world are facing," Brnabic said and emphasized that it was a budget that enabled the growth of living standards and the growth of pensions.
She added that the second big part was energetics, or in other words, how we faced the world energy crisis, and that it was what the government was very committed to.
"The third major part is the rule of law and the implementation of the process of constitutional reforms, which we concluded yesterday with the adoption of a whole series of judicial laws. The fourth is a constant instability, constant provocations, attacks on Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, and the difficult 100 days that President Aleksandar Vucic took on himself, which affected the work of the government," Brnabic said.
